It starts with Sheriff Scott Wriggelsworth.

He graduated from the FBI National Academy in 2006.

Although Scott’s deputies arrested Chinese spy, Jianwei “Eugene Wei” Yu on Oct. 4th, there is no record.

The Sheriff is responsible for deleting Eugene Yu’s file on Oct. 6th.

Defense attorneys say Eugene Yu has been a model citizen for 25 years.

However, according to the Michigan State Police (MSP), they have no record of Eugene Yu.

Their public information response to Yu’s records dated March 28th finds no arrests and no:

  • driver’s license

  • voting record

  • driving violations,

  • or parking tickets.

Even though Eugene Yu:

  • spent two nights in Ingham Co. Jail on Oct. 4th and 5th

  • was released on October 6th after posting a $500,000 bond for being a “fugitive from justice.”

  • evidence was seized from Yu’s car and home on October 4th.

Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D-MI) appointed Joseph Gasper the Director of the Michigan State Police (MSP) in 2018.

Both are responsible for deleting the criminal record of Eugene Yu in Michigan.

Whitmer also named Gasper the head of Michigan’s Homeland Security.
